Saturday Bird Walks

Tamworth Birdwatchers (TBW) usually have these walks on the last Saturday of each month February to November. These outings are often more than a one-hour drive from Tamworth and may be to a couple of different locations in the same area. See our Activities Calendar, where you will find the details of the outing. It is essential that you prebook with the Leader in case there are changes to any of the details.

Bring morning tea, lunch, water, folding chair, notebook and pencil, hat, sunscreen, sturdy covered footwear and binoculars. If you don’t have binoculars, TBW have some available for borrowing for the activity. Visitors to Tamworth are encouraged to join us.

Tuesday Morning Bird Walks

Tamworth Birdwatchers (TBW) have these walks on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month, February to November. These walks are usually within a one-hour drive of Tamworth. As with the Saturday outings, it is essential that you prebook with the Leader in case there are changes to any of the details. See our Activities Calendar for more details.

Campouts

Several campouts may be organised throughout the year. These usually happen over a few days and details will be on the Activities Calendar. If you intend going, it would assist the Leader with organisation if you could give them plenty of notice.

Activities Leaders

Please give reasonable notice to the Leader if you wish to join an activity and verify all meeting and transport details. Discuss with the Leader if you wish to bring friends or children with you. The Leader may need to organise vehicles and therefore needs to know who is attending. If you are unable to attend, please inform the Leader so people do not wait for you.

It is the responsibility of each participant to follow the TBW Code of Conduct and the Leader(s)’ instructions on all our activities. Members and guests agree to this understanding when they sign on. The Leaders are volunteers and need your support.
